Launch of new criteria for the accreditation of live educational events 2013-01-01
The UEMS-EACCME® has amended its criteria for the accreditation of Live Educational Events (UEMS 2012/30). These have become applicable for all applications made as of 1st January 2013 and supersede previous versions of accreditation criteria for CME-CPD in Europe.
Public Consultation on the implementation of European Centres of Excellence 2012-12-11
The European Commission recently launched a consultation to receive input of interested parties as to how the criteria for the scope and for European Reference Networks and the healthcare providers wishing to join the network. The establishment of these networks is one of the innovations suggested in the European Cross-Border Care Directive (2011/24/EC).
