UEMS/ESS Meeting October 19th, 2017 - BRUSSELS

Dear Colleague,

We would like to kindly invite you to register to the UEMS/ESS meeting to be held on October 19th, 2017 in Brussels (Maison des Associations Internationales - Rue Washington 40 - Brussels).

Following the footsteps of previous the very successful UEMS/ESS meetings in 2013 and 2014, we believe  that this meeting  will be an excellent opportunity  to strenghten cooperation between the UEMS and the Scientific Societies.  The UEMS strongly supports the existing collaboration between UEMS Specialist Sections and their partner Scientific Societies which coordinate their efforts to promote their discipline at the European level. There are already many examples of excellent cooperation developed and reinforced over the years and we are convinced that new areas of cooperation could be identified in the field of medical specialist development.

The UEMS aims to foster synergies from all stakeholders (European Member States, EU Institutions, Scientific Societies, Hospitals, Universities, etc...)  among  the medical profession to shape the future of healthcare delivery in Europe and improve the quality of care provided to European citizens. We trust that this meeting will be a incentive for our profession to advocate quality of care and patient safety. We have shaped its programme to stir up discussions and we would like to encourage new ideas and proposals to achieve our common goals.
