European Medical Organisations condemn attacks on healthcare professionals fighting the COVID-19 pandemic 2020-05-14

Following the alarming reports of cases of violence, discrimination and exclusion that physicians and other healthcare professionals across Europe have been facing because of the fear they will spread the Coronavirus, European Medical Organisations reaffirm that they stand in complete solidarity with their colleagues who are in the front line of the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

UEMS resources on COVID-19 2020-03-27

Healthcare workers are currently working very hard during this Covid-19 outbreak. Not only medical specialists, but also GPs, nurses and many other healthcare professionals. This is a very difficult situation for them, as the number of cases increases by the day in the context of a lack of protective equipment in health facilities, shortages of staff and work overload.
