Signature of a historic collaboration agreement between UEMS & UEMO 2024-03-19

At the 6th Conference, organised by the UEMS-EACCME, entitled EACCME 3.0: The Next Frontier - A Pan-European CME-CPD Partnership, a historic agreement was signed between UEMS and UEMO, the EUropean Union of Medical Practitioners,  to formalize the collaboration between both organisations in the accreditation of educational activities for general practitioners/family doctors.

The UEMS President attends the 150th anniversary of the Croatian Medical Association 2024-03-18

The President of the UEMS, Professor Vassilios Papalois, has attended the recent celebratory event in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Croatian Medical Association on February 26th, in Zagreb. Professor Papalois' presence emphasized the importance of international collaboration and knowledge exchange within the medical community.

Joint statement on Gaza-Israel conflict 2024-03-05

UEMS,  AEMH, CEOM and UEMO have released a joint statement to express grief and sadness over loss of life and suffering during Gaza-Israel conflict. They stand in solidarity with victims and with medical staff
providing life-saving help and medical care in Gaza under extreme duress, risking their lives
to protect the patients.

UEMS supports actions to combat sexual misconducts within medicine 2024-03-04

The UEMS through its Thematic Federation for Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity and the Surgical, Medical and Multi-Disciplinary Sections call for actions  to combat sexual misconducts  against female doctors in Europe.
