In the framework of the ECAB project (Evaluating Care across Borders), the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine is conducting research on variations of practice in disease management across Europe. The ECAB Project is funded under the European Commission's 7th Research Framework Programme and the UEMS was invited to contribute both within the project's advisory board but also in providing its network in order to collect data.
The survey focuses on three disease conditions:
- Type II diabetes
- Hip arthroplasty
- Acute myocardial infarction
The LSHTM is actually looking for experts in these different fields in order to complete a short questionnaire regarding disease management in their country of work.
The surveys are available in a range of languages, however if your language is not represented please feel free to use any other version that would suit you best, indicating your country of work. For several questions, more than one answer is possible ("Tick all that apply"). Moreover further explanations or clarifications of your answers in the text boxes provided would also be very much appreciated.
If you have any questions regarding the survey please contact Dr Cecile Knai at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (cecile.knai(at)lshtm.ac.uk).
Many thanks in advance for your participation!
